•A Tree Tomato will give you 50 pounds of fruit per plant! They are truly amazing and will have all the neighbors staring in jealousy! The fruit produced are large and weigh up to 2 pounds. It is very sweet and juicy. They are perfect for canning. The plants will need to be staked or trellised.

I only got a few of these seeds and only have enough for 2 auctions at 10 seeds each. Unlike my onion auctions don't wait to bid later as until my 20 seeds I planted come up to fruiting age I will not be offering these again.

Happy Bidding!

How do these plants tolerate cold? Will winter over in zone 7 or are they annuals that have to be replanted every year, like most tomatoes? I'd really like to have some, but I need them to be able to grow outdoors, as I have no real room to winter them in.

Everything I've read about these I these they are grown in Italy Hardness zone of 7-9. If taken care of these Tomatos will last for years, Frosts still can damage trees so if you are planting them outside you can tarp them when they are small... when they get bigger use a pool "noodle" we cut a slit in the side and put it around the trees here and it keeps the trees alive. Just make sure to water any plant or tree soon after the frost is over.

I thought tomatoes grew on a vine, not trees.
