The listing, BARK COLLAR has ended.
This is a used Guardin(made by Petsafe) bark collar.Still works and trains a dog from barking all the time. This is 1 of 3 auctions where the highest bidder(among all 3 auctions) wins a $5 Amazon e-card.In an event of a tie(among the 3 auctions) the bidder with the earliest time (according to Listia) wins.
These are fantastic!! the winner of this will be very happy with the results. We have one for our dog, then loaned it to the neighbors!! all's quiet on our side of town...NICE AUCTION
Yes the collars are nice! They do the trick, at least with my dog.I wish my neighbors would get one for their dog!...LOL!...Thanks for the positive comment on the auction!
No,this collar does not have a remote. If your thinking about off/on,a person has to put the collar on or take it off.It is advised that the collar only stays on no more than 12 hours in a 24 hour period.
Put the collar on the dog and when the dog barks(longer than 15 seconds),the vibration of the bark sends a signal to the collar and the collar sends a low voltage shock back.I used a command with the collar. It took my dog almost a month to learn to stop barking when I used the command word.
It does not hurt the dog. I have one almost like this, but it has a remote and you can adjust the strength. This one I am sure is just enough to get their attention and she said it has no remote. Also, I would like to know how big a collar it is? TY!
I have a jack russell and the collar does go smaller..You are right...the shock is powered by 3 watch batteries so its not enough to hurt them.Just enough to get their attention off barking. The biggest it will go is 16" in circumference. The collar is 3/4 inch wide....Hope this answers your question......
