The stone almost looks like a Hessonite Garnet, but a little darker. It is very beautiful!

its stamped only 10kt so im not positive if its plated or filled

I haven't heard that 10kt is always filled. I have had 10 kt gold items. And most items that are filled or plated have another marking added near the kt.
