Description

The listing, 1893 Indian Head Penny, ONE HUNDRED and SEVENTEEN years old !! WOW !!! has ended.

The penny in this auction IS NOT the penny in this pic. The penny for this auction is a 1893 Indian head penny in very similar condition to this one in the pic, all beat up, but not as badly. It was found on a deserted beach with a metal detector. Everything found was at least 100 years old, pretty cool huh ?? My eyes are not great, with a magnifying glass I can see it's date very clearly 1893. That makes it a whooping 117 years old !! I do not think it is suitable for a coin collection but for a charm or necklace I think it's perfect. It is not worn the normal worn flat, it has a bumpy look to it probably from being in salt water for a century. I personally think the bumpy aspect is pretty unique and cool looking. I gave a few of these out on key chains and necklaces and people said they loved them. The real indicator was when I noticed that people were actually using them. So I guess they weren't just being polite. If the winner would like me to drill a hole in it to string for a necklace, bracelet, key chain, or any other purpose, after winning just let me know. A genuine American historic artifact. Good luck.
