yes ma'am it is leather and no it doesnt have any marks , skuffs or anything wrong with it . the straps arenstill in perfect condition. the drop length is about 12 inches. it is very comfortable to carry. i absolutely love it, im just ready to get a new one.i bought it new and have had for less than two months.
