Description

The listing, antique brass standing service bell has ended.

It was an old service bell at the corner store when I was a kid I got it when I went to visit last year. They bought it used from the previous owners who used it to open the building in the late 1800s. Works very well I use it wake up my niece and nephew.

Questions & Comments

I'm disabled so this will be great to have in case I need my care giver and they are some where else in the house. So glad you put this up for auction. Heck we have even tried walkie talkie's and baby monitors. This will make my husband happy. Wish me luck. I won't get serious about bidding till the last day...I hate long auctions, LOL, no patience. Fanned you also.

I did bid on the chocolate pot, but this is something that I will use. The pot would just have been a pretty in the china cabinet. I had to make the sensible choice for me or I would keep bidding on both..LOL. Hope you continue to have many more great auctions. The free shipping is nice too, so many sellers are having to charge for it, and some of them go beyond the normal limits so they can make money and credits. It's such a shame, but you can figure it out pretty quickly depending on the item.
