Living with Modern Sculpture Patrick J Kelleher - Princeton University Art Museum Trade Paperback Edition Sealed: This is a guidebook to the John B. Putnam, Jr. Memorial Collection at Princeton University. As the description on the back states:

"Princeton University acquired its collection of contemporary sculpture through a special fund established in 1968 as a memorial to John B. Putnam, Jr. The collection of twenty-one sculptures is sited throughout the University campus and is represented by such distinguished artists as Picaso, David Smith, Jacques Lipchitz, Henry Moore, Louise Nevelson, and many other prominent sculptors of the twentieth century. This guidebook, which is fully illustrated, documents the history and formation of the collection. Patrick J. Kelleher, former director of The Art Museum, has written an entry for each sculpture, drawing from information supplied by the artists, their families, scholars, and dealers. Each essay offers previously unpublished information on these works as well as on the selection and siting of outdoor sculpture. Hugh M. Davies, director of the Art Gallery, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, provides an introductory historical essay on twentieth-century sculpture, and Youngja Lee Kim, a specialist in the conservaton of outdoor sculpture, discusses the special problems entailed in the conservation of individual works in the collection. This book will serve as an informative guide to the John B. Putnam, Jr., Memorial Collection, and is a contribution to the study of twentieth century sculpture and its conservation."

This book is still sealed in its original shrink wrap. I do know something of this copy's history and it is probably a fairly early edition (the hardcover version of this book was first published in 1982). Overall this book is in excellent condition, though the shrinkwrap has separated on the back (see photos).
