I don't know because it will not fit my kind of tub faucet. But i would say that it probably depends on your general water pressure you get any way the more water pressure you have the better. I have bad pressure because we are low in water in our well...

how does it fit on? I have a square spout lol

you just push it up onto the faucet and the rubber nozzle holds it in place, it will work on a square type mine is round and will not fit.
