My wedding dress has gold sequins on the top and the bottom is fabric just like this. I was hoping to win it to make a small cover up since it's strapless.

We're already married but I wear my dress on special occasions because it's the nicest dress I have. I'll send ya pic if I win.

that would be awesome. My son's best friend just lost his wife. That's sad on its own, but what really makes it really bad, they just had a baby less than a week before. She had an anurysm or blood clot. Well my son flew from Baltimore to Minnesota and spent a week with him and his family. I told my son to let them know I would volunteer to make the baptism outfit which they were so surprised and grateful. I had given the dad a baby blanket and mittens at the wake. Well I hadn't heard back to a message I left, and didn't want to bother them, my son called for me, as I had a good idea, but they needed to okay. I suggested that I make from the mom (deceased) wedding dress. That way mom would be with him on this very special day. Its up to them. I am honored they will allow me to make it any way.

sewerjo the same thing happen to my brother and his wife this Dec. His wife had two strokes causing an anurysm on her brain she had to have an emergency c-section. A baby girl was born and her mama was never able to see her, see went in to surgery and was said to be brain dead. She left 4 children behind. My brother's name is Richard and his wife was named Carrie. So reading this above really touched my heart and I had to say I will deftly be sending out prayers for your sons friend + family as well your son. I know any loss is a hard one I lost my own mother at 13. Deeply sadden for there loss way to many are going before there time.

I have never heard of it like this, it has to be one of a kind, and I believe there is only 1 person who desides our time is up. My brother was brillant, top of his class and 4 doctors degrees at the same time, woke up blind after 1 month of marriage , 1 eye came back and cancer got the other and eventually the liver and brain. I wouldn't worry, worry can make you very ill (I'm proof of that) and its not easy to reverse the damage.
