Seeds from open-pollinated plants from my garden. Gaillardia (Firewheel, Indian Blanket, Indian Blanketflower, or Sundance), short-lived perennial or annual flower native to central US. Hardy plant, not picky about soil, though sandy and well-drained are best. High drought tolerance, Does best with dry, hot climate in full sun. Deadheading pays off. Supposed to self-seed, but mine doesn’t. 1-3’ tall x 12”-24” wide. Mounding plant. Direct sow in fall or start indoors 6 weeks before last frost date.
