trackfone is a brand name and runs if Tracfone, straight talk, and net 10, and if it doesn't have a sim card, it is gsm, and will only work on one of those carriers, so people need the phone information.

Not ot be a know-it-all, but.....The Samsung sch-m828c is a cdma phone; hence the suffix "c".
CDMA = no sim card....... GSM = sim card required.
Tracfone, straight talk, and net 10 use both CDMA (Sprint networks) example phone: SCH-M828C and GSM (Verizon network) example phone: SGH-T404G; depending on which phone type you decide you want.

generally if it requires a sim it is gsm but if it does not then it is a cdma phone but that is not important all that matters is if it uses a sim or not...the charger is a micro usb...you have mini micro and regular usb again irrelevant...just need to know that it is a micro usb

Ok, looked it up for u so u can do a update on your auction. it's a precedent sch-m:828c android wifi and it only works with straight talk plan $45 a month unlimited text,talk, and internet.

If you turn on the phone and go to settings than click on about phone you should be able to get the model number, then we could do research.

I believe this was a tmobile phone at one time I'm not absolutely positive it could be a tracfone it has a symbol on the front I'll take a picture of it as well
