How big does this get?

When it doesn't get frozen back, Senna alata can grow up to 30 ft (10 m) tall and 15 ft (3 m) wide. Mine got taller than me but in the winter they turned black and so I thought it was dead and cut them down shorter all but but one. The ones I cut started growing back from where I cut it, and the one I didn't cut it started growing from the top. So I guess it is as big as you want it. Sometimes though when it is black from a really hard freeze that one doesn't grow back but I did notice lots of shoots from the seeds that dropped.

I had one start growing in a pot without me planting it and it grew nicely and was healthy and had flowers but didn't get as big as the ones planted in the ground. That could be an option if you really want it.
