you do know that the system is proxy bidding system? so if a person bids over 6500 credits but highest bid at close is under 6500 are we responsible for shipping still?

I don't think that option (proxy bidding) is available here on Listia. As a buyer I usually watch the item and on the last 30 minutes if I know I will not be around, I will max my bids. No shipping fee if 6500 and over.
