The listing, Sony PSP 1st Gen with Case, plus 2 Games!! Works Great! has ended.

This is a first generation Sony PSP from Japan. It plays all games but doesn't play movies because it's from Japan (might play region 2 movies, never tried). Comes with PSP slipcase, original charger and 2 games- Major League Baseball and Need For Speed: Underground Rivals.
Needs a memory card. Has some minor scratches on the screen and has a replacement joystick, but is charged up and working great!

I feel silly for asking, but it does play english games in english, even though it's a Japanese psp? And everything works perfectly? The screen and the joystick work?

Hi all,
The blue thing is a replacement joystick. They are $.99 at amazon if that's not the style you prefer.
Yes, English games play in English. The baseball game included in the auction is in English, the Underground Rivals game is Japanese. Due to the region encoding it won't play US movie discs, however you can put movies on your memory stick and watch them that way. I've found no function problems, and the screen and joystick work great.
