Yes. This is how a proof set comes from the mint. When you see a single proof that means someone has bust it out of its plastic case.

I apologize if this is redundant. I think sometimes when I comment on cellphone is registers and on labtop it may not. But yes, Each of the coins is a $1 dollar coin. Meaning there is $4 in face value per set. However, these are proof coins with a mirror finish and have never been touched. This type of coin has a higher collector value.
