I am so sorry, I thought I had already replied to you. The answer is there is no difference except this holds more data and is great for creating backup disc for your computer or for making dvd's.

I believe the only difference is they hold more data. As far as appearance, they're basically the same. This particular disc is HP Brand. It can be used with any PC. I used them to create my back up disc's for my computer. The one I'm auctioning is an extra and has never been used. According to the packaging it will hold up to 240 minutes of video.
