No, not necessarily. This one I got from a friend, and she provided me with the pics, so I am forwarding them. I put the recipes that I have collected into a Microsoft document to auction, because most recipes need a pic to see what you are aiming to produce; and because also, they often require support pics to help you see how something is done. FYI : there are many versions of the same recipe in the world, some coming from a thousand or more different locations that are all the very same recipe. What one person found to be a great recipe, someone else figured out the same thing, some time ago. Recipes (or formulas for cooking) vary throughouit the world can taste the same or similar, as well as look the same or similar. Many pics are available on the internet that are without copyright that are available to use for free, and they look exactly like the dish you prepare. If you are unable to take a pic of the recipe you want to post, right when you want or need to post it, it makes sense to look for a free pic that looks the same as the one that you prepare.
Also, all recipes that you collect are not formatted the same, nor uniform in terminology, nor do they use language that is easily understandable to the general American cook. There are many cooking/baking recipes that use terms and names of equipment that everyone is not generally familiar with. I have a lot of experience as a cook/baker, and have taken the time and the trouble to put my recipes in a uniform format, add details that make it easier to understand, suggest other methods, ingredients to substitute if necessary, and explain the differences in equipment called for, along with defining some of the less known terms. This is what I am trading, not JUST the recipe. This takes me time, effort and some research on occasion.
