ABELMOSCHUS MANIHOT (formerly Hibiscus manihot) Aibika, Sunset Hibiscus
I just love the yellow flowers this has, it also is an edible plant.

I am VERY limited on seeds for this as I got in in the ground late and had to bag the pods so they didn't fet bit by the frost, But I only had 3 pods that developed fully.
I had 6 seeds from a couple years ago and they all sprouted I had 6 plants, still have 3 in my garden shed for next year.

Here is a link with details on eating it.

I'm not sure what variety it is. I bought it at a local nursery about 5 yrs ago & it is about 5ft tall. It has almost crepe like petals. I keep it on the east side during summer as it seemss to like the morning sun. I left another one on the west side and it burnt during the high sun. I fertilize it with a little miracle grow every month except in Dec & Jan. It is in a big pot that hubby has to drag out in spring..lol

More than likely it is a tropical one, not the same as this one. I have a tropical one too , but I may have lost it. It was in my garden shesd and the heat was off a few hours and ..well you can guess what happened. :(
