Description

The listing, Invisible Fence **Please read before bidding** has ended.

This does not look new. However It has never been used. How the story goes we had 3 1/2 Acres and a Shepard and Boxer. I bought this to set up for our dogs, at pet smart for 60-100 dollars. My Husband never got around to it. It sat in the carport. The original box has been long gone we had a house fire and moved. we never had a need for it after that. It has been in our basement now seven years prior to that four-five years. That is 11-12 years total. It has the marker flags the wire and the collar and the remote control. Who ever gets this will have to down load the instructions.... I'll also do some research and update as the time goes by while interested bidders are trying to make up your minds.

Please I follow all of listia rules and expect my bidders to do the same. TY :)

I always pay shipping, but to keep doing that I need to make sure I'm getting enough on credits to cover that. 1500 credits is worth $5 to me. so please no rude comments. And please under stand my reason for starting bids out so high TY :-)
This package is going to cost around 8.00-13.00 dollars in shipping.

PS there is a VHS with instructions. the tape inside seems fine but there is a crack on case, can not guarantee it will work . Every thing is dusty and dirty I'll wipe it down before shipping.

Saw your listing and thought I might help. I use a PetSafe brand of in-ground radio fence for my two dogs. The PetSafe brand is very similar to the Innotek brand you are selling. If you follow the instructions, it is very easy to install, train and use. I recommend renting a machine that lays the wire for you. Costs about $40 to rent for the day and is worth it. Collars run about $60-$100 each online, depending on the type you need for your dog(s). They make them for small dogs, stubborn dogs, etc. Most collars require special batteries you can get a PetSmart, Petco or online. They cost about $3-5 each and need to be replaced every 3-6 months. Some of the newer collars are rechargeable, but I do not know if they would work for an older system. The wire they give you is usually a 50 foot roll and covers 1/2 acre or less. A kit with an extra 50 feet of wire, extra flags and splices for joining the wire can be ordered from online or bought at PetSmart, Petco, etc. You must use the wire specific to the fence and not substitute it with other similar wire from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. The transmitter must be installed inside the house and kept dry. It controls the radio signal and things like the width of your boundary and has settings for different size yards. I highly recommend plugging into a surge protector, as our yard once got struck by lighting and the current travelled through the wire, into the transmitter and melted it. I love my radio fence. It costs so much less than traditional fencing and keeps even my super active Lab contained easily. I've had mine for 3 years, and I did have to replace each collar once and the transmitter once. Through the company, replacement transmitters and collars are $30 each if you return the defective collar or transmitter in the prepaid return packaging they send you. Even if I had to replace all three parts every year, it would be well worth it and still cheaper than a regular fence.

did it come with batteries in it? just checking, I know how they can corrode and ruin the connectors ,just trying to see what I would have to have if I win.

It is to train your dog to stay in a marked area with out fences. what your do is you run the green wire under ground a inch or two and set flags to mark The flags are for temporary visual markers were you lined out the boundaries for your dog. then they wear a remote collar, and you have the controller for training. It is not suppose to take very long. I have seen people who use them even in the city. after they are trained they no longer need the collar. or you watching them. I hope that helped. and good luck if your bidding.

I'm sorry it will cost me about ten dollars to ship. I have no choice. But I did put up a long bidding period, that should help you save credits and sale some more things. So many people want free shipping and when you have as many things as I do and heavy items to boot, you can go broke real quick.

I'm sure it does, and the company still makes it and you can buy parts and more supplies. I have no problem guaranteeing it but you will have to pay the return shipping. if unhappy. credits will be returned up too 30 days after tracking says winner has received.

I love your auction I wish I had enough credits. I would definitely bid it up until I won. I have two huge 100+ pound pitbulls both of my boys are runners. we have no fence so they can only go out on leash I would love to have one of these. I am buying one from the tractor supply here when we get taxes. someone is winning a nice auction with this one. You got a good deal on.this to if you paid only a hundred buxks. cheapest one they have here is 359 bucks. great auction.

HouseOfPinUps if your dog gets with in 3-5 feet of the wire, depending on how wide you have your boundry set, it will omit an ultrasonic tone that the dog hears, if they continue to approach the wire after the tone has been omitted, the collar will then release a static charge to make the dog back up. Some collars even will increase the static charge each time it has to re-omit the static charge in the out of boundry area. It is quite effective, I have two pit bulls trained on it here....
