You are bidding on 10 seeds for Passionvine (Passiflora incarnata) aka. Maypops. This is a perennial vine in southern climates and an annual vine in northern climates. Seeds are slow to germinate because the seeds have a very hard outer shell. Bottom heat while germinating is recommended and does speed up germination significantly. This vine has a very unique flower and flowers abundantly. It also produces a green fruit that is edible but very seedy similar to a pomegranate.

This plant is a show stopper in your garden and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. It looks great growing on a trellis and prefers sunny areas.

The plant will grow great but may not overwinter. I would recommend heavy mulch cover for winter protection.

I have a blue one..I'm in southern oklahoma..they die off at winter time.but the seeds it's spread and the vine itself will come back in spring..it will produce a new vine if not touched..you will need to tear down the old stuff..they are beautifull and reproduce very easily..

The vine may go completely dormant but will regrow from the roots.
