The thread is included in the kit and it doesn't name the brand of the floss . All it says is "the thread used in this kit is 6 strand cotton floss. It also mentions it's 2 ply. I know from experience I have gone to AC Moore and matched the floss with what they sell there. They give you the floss code # so you can match it. Hope that helps.
