Different brands run different sizes. ... What kind of 2x is this? As in size 16? 20...24?

You are so right about that. I bought a similar one in same size (I was expecting it to fit like a 22) but it ran a little small to me. I opened this package and looked at it. It may be like a 18-20, depending on your breast size. It is 65% polyester and 35% spandex so it does have some give to it. thanks.
