Genuine World War II V-Mail letter form. During the war, people were encouraged to use V-Mail when writing to military members overeas as a way to save space on transport ships. A person would write the letter on the V-Mail form, it would photographed along with hundreds of other letters and the film sent overseas where it would be processed and a copy of the letter sent on to military member. The form includes place for censor stamp to confirm the letter did not contain any information that might be of use to the enemy.
