I cannot believe i am doing this. i thought long and hard about it after seeing some items on this site that i wanted and needed more than this ring so after much thought i have made my decision. this is probably one of the most beautiful rings that you have ever laid your eyes on. i know it is for me. my aunt passed this down to me,she was very wealthy and seeing her in this kind of jewelry was expected of her and she wore rings on almost every finger. i am not the flashy type and i would feel uncomfortable wearing this because it is just not who i am. this was purchased at zales and cost $1500.00 at the time it was bought for her. if you love bold and beautiful than this is the ring for you !! the only pictures zoomed in on was the one on my finger and the one t hat shows the 10 k and zales and it was already noticable without zooming in anyhow.this is solid gold and many many diamonds make up the cluster which is approx 15 mm in both directions !!! notice the gold running down the center of the diamonds,wow !! the band is a full 7 mm wide. this is an all around no brainer for those that love this type of rings. please do not bid unless your address has been verified through listia.i will not send to an unverified address. check my other auctions for more great items !! i am not going to start this low by no means !! it was very pricy and there is no telling what it is worth today. great luck to each and every one of my bidders !!! i added some clearer pictures you can see much better,the other ones i took did not have enough lighting.

I have a good friend who lives in Dublin, TX and we meet in Mineral Wells sometimes since it is about halfway, she call the hotel the world's largest birdhouse, shame it can't be restored. I would love to go through it someday.

I know that's right. Several people have started to purchase it but have backed out. I heard that it cannot be torn down because there is a lot of underground parking etc and of course with that being said and the buildings above it would be destroyed. I was sad when there was a mention of that happening because like I said I love that hotel. Back in the 70's me and my husband rented a room for the night,i still have the receipt LOL.Back in the 60's and 70's it was opened and had a bar restaurant,you name it. Just a lot of history in that hotel.They no longer allow tours because of the dangers of falling debris etc.

Wow! Gorgeous! I live in Texas too, about 50 miles from you, used to shop at a store in Mineral Wells called Cheapo Depot years ago. Love the old abandoned hotel there!

Thanks you so much ! This ring is literally out of this world Funny you should mention the cheapo depot .I loved going there as well but it has been gone for quite awhile now. They had some Great stuff. My sister workd there for a couple of years.And the Baker hotel has always drawn my interest ! I had the opportunity to go through it about 11 years ago on Halloween night. My son and daughter in law had bought them a ticket and got me one as well knowing I had always wanted to explore it. You wouldn't believe all I captured with my digital camera ! It is really a hot spot for spiritual activity and many groups have came to our city to explore the ghosts that still remain in that old old hotel .

I am really expecting a lot on this ring. It is so rare and was so expensive I really cannot do that.I was going to run it for 20 days but thought 10 days would probably be sufficient to bring an amount I will be really happy with. I also started to set the starting bid at 250;000 but relented. I do wish you great luck on it though .
