I bought this for my dog hoping it would fit, but she was to long for it. So it has been sitting in my closet since. It closes with velcrow and one snap on the belly. The hood can be taken off or put on, it is held on with snaps. There is a hole on the top where the collar is for the leash to go through. I believe the inside is lined with fleece but im not positive. (It has that soft, fuzzy feeling of fleece) This is a thicker coat for the colder weather, it has stuffing between the layers for extra warmth. Coat measures approximately 13 inches, not including the hood. With the hood it measures approximately 17 inches. Coat measures approximately 19 inches in diameter, not being stretched out. (There is some elastic in the coat)
