This book is for anybody who appreciates true country music.
Through this book, the reader is taken "back stage" and introduced to 2 legends of Country Music in a fashion that most people have never experienced. Georgette Jones, daughter of George Jones & Tammy Wynette, invites you into her journey of life and growing up with her parents.
Most often, people only see the "lights and glitz" of being a celebrity in the music business; in this book, the reader is given the privilege of being introduced to Tammy Wynette and George Jones as "real people", not as "stars".
In this book, Georgette Jones talks about her life and her parents very respectfully, but also very truthfully. There is no "smoke & mirrors" in this book; the reader is given the honest truth and introduced to the "reality" of the lives of Georgette and her legendary parents.
I highly recommend this book for anybody who appreciates country music; its history and its people.
