I completely enjoy the flavour of butternut squash. I enjoy baking it with a bit of salt, pepper and a bit of cinnamon. Good auction.

I started growing a lot of it because it makes amazing baby food. I also have a great recipe for an Indian curry and have completely replaced pumpkins with butternut in pies. They are sweeter! Thanks for the comment:)

They are! I have been sharing these seeds for the past few years. My father grew the absolute BEST butternuts from them last year. He put the sprouts in his compost pile and left town for months. When he came back, he had butternuts all over his hill. He had enough to share them! The first year, I grew over 250 of them because I didn't know how many grew from a hill. I did about 12 hills, three per hill and they took off. These are the best winter squash I've grown yet, suggested by my neighbors who teach sustainable living classes at UNCA. AMAZING nutrition! I will list some more if you're interested.
