This is not a camera lens it is a single monocular lens for spotting game or birds. Just like a hand held telescope.. binoculars have to sides to look in this has one...look at the picture provided by the link you will see the eye lens...Now all of these can have adapters to fit on cameras..you have to buy a special ring to fit both camera and MONOCULAR..Another Name for it is a Spotting scope...I hope to win this..F&W
<---- pro photographer here - This isn't a camera lens, it's a spotting scope. It's basically a binocular with a single eyepiece, its also not a rangefinder (for sniping, though it looks similar in form factor) there is no no camera mount on this, and it wouldn't be a practical camera lens (straight zooms are a-plenty) and this is lacking the aperture (f-stops) that you would find on a camera lens.
But, its still a fairly rare and interesting piece of optics. Nice auction.
F&W I looked this up on Bing and it's a spotting scope for hunting or for marksmen shooting to spot your target Was you father a hunter or did he like target shooting that's what your two scopes are for
He wasnt into hunting. Did like taking photos. We all looked it up and it said for camera :-) see other comments. But your guess is as good as ours. fanned you.
Wow this is a cool item. I looked up some photos monoculars online. Most I saw were straight a few shaped like this one. I did see a Quantaray Monocular online but not like this one. I don't know if this model is rare but it's hard to find information online. Do you know how old it is? It looks interesting. Watching
Neat lens, have never seen one like this before, I'll have to check the link posted above to see if it fits my camera. Fanned you + Watching. Fan me back if you'd like. :)
