The listing, *~*~*~Another Jewels Jems Creation: A Dark Purple Butterfly Euro Bracelet: "In Flight" *~*~*~ has ended.

One of my first bracelets of the New Year (well, close enough. It's 6:30 pm on New Year's Eve.) This is a creation I call In Flight. Not real unusual or esoteric, but I intend to do even more this next year than I did in the last! More random acts of kindness, more loving to my family and friends. Believe me, everyone here on Listia sees me at my best LOL

So this is a symbol of me taking flight. I hope it will come to symbolize something for you!

I am not doing a GIN on many of my auctions now, as they are not being used. I then have to pay thousands of credits to not only pay the GIN fees, but another 2-3000 credits to make them Premium. That is enough.
If my auctions start doing as well as they have in the past, I will begin offering a GIN with bonus.I have many many more jewelry ideas floating around in my head! I had a request for a darker stone full beaded set. I have a watch face I am going to make a charm bracelet band for, and tons and tons of Euros!
But I am going to be adding more than just my Jewels Jems creations!!

Me too! Speaking of my gorgeous little trailer, there was a huge old boxelder tree right up against it. One night, we had a fierce electrical storm, and I could just feel the electromagnetic energy in the air. I somehow knew it was gonna hit us. And sure 'nuff. BOOM!! It hit the tree and went all through my wiring, blowing up most of my appliances, even though the auto shut off valve was triggered.Or whatever you call what made all of the lights and everything else go out! Man, now that was an experience! I just saw a huge, blinding white light (stay away from the light. don't go to the light hehehehe)
Yeah, that would be the best place to watch it. I was watching a beautiful lightning storm over the ocean when Jim and I were on the Outer Banks, NC. I've never seen anything so beautiful! I watched it come over the ocean until it was almost to our hotel-I was sitting out on the balcony. couldn't sleep, as I always can sense when a storm is coming, so I had the best view in the house!

Oh, I have no doubt. I'm gonna pull up one of the pics I have stored of his finished product-his very FIRST canoe he made just from his brain, (He built the house we are living in, also. Including putting a beautiful Tin roof on it. Our house is an Earth Berm, so we can turn our heat down to 60* at night, and the house will still be at 67-68* It's amazing. All of the rooms have large sliding doors, and they face South, so they receive ambient heat whenever the sun shines, and then the house stores it.
He's brilliant and very creative. But don't tell him I said that LOL

Now didn't I tell you, Mr Tim, that I would be up in that stupid balloon right there with you? I know there was I time I would have jumped on a chance like that-to go up in a balloon. But the way I wanted to chase storms is just like the big fad of the 90's~~

Now I'm beginning to think we are Fraternal twins (of course0 seperated at birth!! I used to want to be a storm chaser, and I can spend hours looking at the weather, listening to reports and watching documentaries about harsh weather, people's stories etc. This is getting too funny!
I keep telling Jim about this guy friend I made on Listia, and how much we have in common.
Jim loves cars, also, and was at one time going to restore one. Now he is building absolutely gorgeous Strip Canoes! He is so modest about them, like i am about some of my talents-not so much my voice lol-but they are just beautiful! Everytime we take it out on a lake, he gets so many compliments on it, and people can hardly believe he made it, let alone that it is his first attempt! He's working on his 2nd one now. It's gonna be a lot fancier. And all he did was study a couple of books.

When you get your hot air balloon, look me up, OK? LOL

We had a storm come through really strong one, they had just put a phase 3 power down my road and it hit the transformer, killed the power.... really loud...about 5 mins later was looking out the kitchen window it hit a big sweetgum tree in my sisters yard...i swear it about blinded me...lol...it left the tree smoking had to go look..lol.. it knocked the bark about 25' circle around it and big splinters all over her yard...it came in sideways hit it in the middle it ran up and down it..never seen that before usually hits them in the tops

Wow! Lightning is so beautiful, but is so deadly or, at the least, destructive! I couldn't tell if it hit the top of our tree, but it looked to come in from teh side,and then shoot into our home! And yes, it was extremely loud.

It was -11 here this morning with the "real feel" (wind chill factored in as yu probably know) of -18! It's supposed to warm up for a day or two then get Arctic Cold again. Then-Into the 40's! Geesh, that's pathetic when 40 degrees above zero seems like a heatwave! I like 85 degrees, and rather humid.

That's OK Katie J! (Hey, that rhymed LOL) I have been having so much computer trouble, I have been terible about shipping, and answering my comments, etc. I am going to do another System Restore. If that doesn't help, I am going to to a System Recovery. But I will do a complete Diagnostic on all of my systems before, plus a complete backup on my Flash Drive.

Windows 8.1 is even worse than Windows 8. I usually run in the Windows 7 BIOS. as much as is possible, but 8 is what is installed on the 'puter and still takes precedence over 7.
