Description
The listing, PSP AS IS PLEASE READ has ended.
This auction is for a USED psp. It HAS problems. You can access the internet with it and play games that you download but it DOES NOT play games that are on the little disk. This psp belonged to a 13 year old boy please keep that in mind, as with all kids he was not always careful with it. The game slot in the back is not working properly and I think it has a loose part. It does not come with a charger because his stopped working. But it does hold a charge and comes with the battery.
Please ask all questions before bidding and I will try my best to answer them. I will not refund credit because you didn't read the entire description. I am offering free shipping with this.
Questions & Comments
I fanned you!
BTW, would you happen to know the firmware revision on the PSP?
That one sounds better than this one! Especially since it is just the screen!
Wow, I am definitely interested! Its pretty awesome that you will include Buy It Now as well...not to mention that it is the newer model PSP! I will be watching that one for sure!
Thanks for the info, I am glad that I fanned you! :-D
It sucks that the screens are so fragile (as mine is broken too, hence the reason I have bid on this one)...but they are nice and big for a portable, so it is to be expected...
So you had one PSP with a bad UMD drive and one with a bad screen...lol...together you had 1 functioning unit if you took the 2 apart. :-P
Depending on how the screen is broken (is it simple cracked and can be replaced, or is the main board messed up?), you could get another 10K or so, I would assume, since it is easier to replace a screen than a UMD drive (in my opinion anyway).
What type is the other PSP (model/color) if you dont mind me asking? Just curious as I may be interested in that one too. =))
it is a psp 3001 and is a pearly white in color and came in the assassin's creed bundle. I will get it listed in an hour or so and this one will have a buy it now feature. Thanks
I still have my GameGear too! :-P I could never give up my GG portable. It sucks batteries down like margaritas, so I have to use it with it plugged in most of the time, but I am still attached to it and could never give it up... And its solid, dont have to worry about the drive going out or anything like that. <3
As far as the talk about mods, the only real benefit I see (and the reason I know about it and how to do it) is because it allows you to recover a "bricked" PSP due to corrupted firmware. If it can save me having to ship the unit to Sony and pay $$$ that I shouldnt have to, then Im for it.
Anyway, I digress... Im digging this auction, it has jumped up in credits, thats for sure. I am glad it at least went over 10K. Would feel bad if it went for any less.
Thanks I am glad to I was unsure what it would go for and I have another one that has a cracked screen I am listing next but i wanted to see what it would go for
Actually, I bid on this because I have a PSP 2001 already with a good UMD and a broken screen...so if I actually win this I was planning on taking the case and screen from this PSP and putting it on my working one... Dont really care about CFW in any way, shape or form. For the vader 2001's with 6.30+ FW you would need to buy a PB and a MMS to get the job done anyway, which is another $50 at least just to be able to try to mod it with CFW. No thanks.
okay thanks for the info, I actually do not know anything about the psp or what you need to do to them, I appreciate the information though. I still have a sega game gear, lol
To check firmware version: Start system, go to settings (far left option), select system settings, then choose system information. System software is the firmware version.

it is version 6.31 it says. It has not been for a few months, because he stopped playing then.
I'd almost like to bid on this just to take the case off it and put on mine. Can you read to me the model number? It should read something like PSP2001xxxx or 3001xxxx.
I do not know but my other son says that you can get other demo games off the playstation network for free. I will ask my other son tomorrow and post the demo games that are on it below.
More Information: The battery cover does not snap on like I think it should, The screen has what appears to be dust particles in it. You can not see them when it is turned on but you can when it is off.
