"Toonces the Driving Cat" debuted on SNL in 1988 as undeniably one of the weirdest - and funniest- animal shows you'll ever see. Toonces can drive, just not very well. This series of loosely joined sketches features Toonces in a variety of misbegotten adventures with a sterling cast of characters including comedic greats Andrea Martin and Joe Flaherty, Randy Quaid as the ill-fated Coach Dobbs, and Scruffy the Rat. Dana Carvey and Victoria Jackson are Toonces' concerned "parents" and Linda Hamilton reprises her "Terminator" role with the protean Phil Hartman (doing a hilariious Schwarzenegger) in a harrowing escape from the evil "Tooncinator."
