Vintage magnifying glass pendant necklace. The magnifying glass pendant measures approximately 3.25" top to bottom, has some scratching and is glass. The chain is approximately 22" in length and shows some finish loss.

Hi and welcome to my auction! I am sorry to say that I don't know the age. The other ones of these that I have seen are like a plastic material in the "glass" area and this one is actual glass. I make designs inside of shadowboxes for a living as an artist and I purchase a lot of vintage and newer jewelry from all sorts of different places. This magnifying necklace was in a box if jewelry that I was given by a customer for their custom pieces. I was able to keep the remaining jewelry as part of my commission. The jewelry that was used was mostly dated in 1950's and 1960's, with some being newer and older. I hope that this helps and maybe someone more expert than I may happen along and answer this for us. Thank you for asking!
