I have received plant cuttings from a person in Canada. My mother lives in Hamilton, Ontario. I am willing to try to send them to you....the worst thing that could happen is custom reviews them. I have never had any probles with customs when sending to my Mom.

They are my favorite too. They bring us hope of the spring and summer after a long, dark, cold winter. Thanks for commenting. Good luck on the bidding. Be happy

i love tulips we use to have them all outside around our bldg at work. All different colors just brightened my day..
Jan 5th, 2014 at 1:50:07 PM PST by
Original
Well now you can have them inside until they stop blooming and then transplant them outside. They need a couple of frosted evenings to bloom again outside, or there are times they will wait and bloom the next year.

I know...I love having them in my kitchen window during this time of year. Bring some sun shine and spring inside and then transplant outside after they finish blooming. They do need a another freeze before blooming again.

I love the first sign of spring in California with Tulips in bloom. My yard always looks so nice in the spring and then with the summer getting hotter....it all goes down hill. Need to find something that will bloom in the front yard in dead of summer with 98% shade.

i would love to grow flowers in my home. I think I have a safe spot too - i have cats who like to chew on plants, so I stopped bringing them home :(..... since I'm in PA is this a good time of the year to try this?
Jan 3rd, 2014 at 11:28:21 AM PST by
Original
Yes, inside....after they stop flowering, you can plant outside just before it stops freezing. bulbs need to be cold before flowering again.
