This necklace is more like costume jewelry, but its beautiful. The stones are not genuine, but they sparkle like they are. ;) The big stone is purple (amythest) and the stones around it are like diamonds. The necklace is gorgeous. (Sorry. This phone doesn't take the best pix :( )
