It works perfect! Diameter is 2" :) it's a really nice looking pocket watch. I wore it as a necklace the one time I did wear it and I took a pic. I'll upload it so you can see

When you had it on there was an extra clip from the chain to the watch, does that come with it as well?

There is not an "extra" clip but there is the regular chain clip on it. So you don't need anything extra to turn it into a necklace. Hope that answered your question. Thanks!
