With these auctions I will be attempting to raise enough points, to purchase raffle items to help a couple local animal rescues in my area. About this item:
This is an item I have been hanging on to for quite some time. I felt that this was good enough of a cause to allow me to let it go, if you win...please take care of it...because I love it dearly. This is unlike usual cameos. The portrait is carved IN to the stone, forming an indentation. Most cameos come out o_o Very peculiar. I assume that the stone is onyx. The band is stamped Sovereign, 14kt Gold Filled Shank. There is a gold chain-like design around the stone and the band is adjustable. This is a comfortable ring to wear, and it is sure to make a beautiful gift or keepsake.

I think this is FABULOUS!!! I actually have an antique inverted cameo necklace made from a very similar, if not exact same material which I ABSOUTELY LOVE!! I've always been fond of Cameos, so the inverted twist in the style is so unique and appealing that it will remain in the back of my mind until I make a point of getting it. I have a cameo pin identical to this it is indented in an actual piece of coal. It is one of my favorite cameos in my collection just because it is made out of coal.
