nope, i got it at a yard sale and my cellphone charger charged it fine. but they do sell usb ones to charge from your computer

Looks like the corner where the charger port is at is chipped :( I would gin instantly but not with that defect

(chip as noted) is camera angle and the lighting, it charges perfectly fine, and operates fine
