FUL-VUE ARCWAY (etched into top of rim over the left lens) half-rimmed reading glasses from osterman* & levy 404 summit street in toledo, ohio.

genuine: 1/10 12k gold-filled (quality stamped on inside of nose-bridge) *osterman jewelers operates in toledo ohio to this day!

these gold-filled frames feature a flexible wrap-around-the-ear style and are detailed with a fine milgrain edge detail and a repeated diamond pattern design along the outside of each ear arm and across the arced nose-bridge.

the glass lenses are pentagon or hexagon-shaped (depending how you look at them), and DRILL-MOUNTED ONLY AT THE NOSE BRIDGE AREA which further adds to the flexible quality of these glasses. the lenses are of very good quality, single vision (NOT bi-focal), virtually scratch-free, and immediately useable (although i do not know the magnification strength). the bridge pads are opaque, in very good condition, and appear to look like bone or ivory but are more likely to be composed of bakelite or celluloid.

please note that the glasses could use a good gentle cleaning - they are roughly 75 years old.
