He means that the bar code at the bottom says "EUR" which literally stands for Europe. I have over 100 Nintendo DS games, including European ones, and the US DS games end with "USA." However, you CAN play the game on a US Nintendo DS and DS lite because they aren't region-locked, meaning they also play European carts like this one (assuming that's not a stock photo - I assume it's your pic). In short, if you say it works then I believe it does, however please note that the game will not work on a U.S. Nintendo 3DS because that one is region-locked and can't play European and Japanese games. It's very important to stress that whoever bids on this is not buying it with the intention of playing it on a 3DS, but a Nintendo DS or DS Lite. Just pointing this out so no one ends up giving each other bad feedback over it if they end up being disappointed. Please add this to the details if possible. Thanks for the auction!

Does the game still work?

Just as clarification, the game tag says "EUR" which means it is a PAL region (or European region) game. That means it was developed and released in Europe and somehow brought to the US. However, it can play on any Nintendo DS or 3DS. Even though the 3DS is region-locked and can only play North American games, that exclusion is only for 3DS games. It can still play non-NA DS games. So if you play this game and transfer the Pokemon to your North American Pokemon compatible game, you can breed all the shinies through Mesuda Method since you would have a US region Pokemon with a European Pokemon.
