Sterling is .925, and in your ad you say this is stamped .999. Can you double check the stamp and let me know what it says.

I double checked the band and it reads clearly .999 and I looked up this information and found some insight via wiki answers. I will share with ya. =)

"Sterling is 92.5% pure silver. .999 Fine is 99.9% pure.
Sterling silver =92.5 silver + 7.5% alloy
Fine silver usually mention "Ag 99.9 " ,means with 99.9% silver."
