Description

The listing, Limited Edition STEELERS Gold Coin** has ended.

Pittsburgh steelers fans!!

Limited edition gold coin.
Please see all the photos

This coin has never been touched, as it is inside a glass frame, and the coin is inside a plastic (or glass, acrylic??) covering as well!

Also, it is still new in its original packaging (Pic 1 &2 )
the rest of the pics are of it out of the package.

Package says" 3x3 acrylic"

On the front of the coin it says "Pittsburgh steelers est 1933" along with the Steeler logo.

On the glass frame it says "STEELERS ; limited edition ; HM"

The back of the coin it says NFL.

The coin (while inside the casing) can be spun around in the frame, And also can be taken out of the frame. I show this in the last two photos!!!!!
*but the coin has never been out of its casing.

Lol this is so hard to explain into words and jr so simple. Haha. Sorry if u don't understand what I'm "attempting" to describe. Lol.

Anyway--->

Very shiny and beautiful!!!

Lol, truth»» I don't really get into the whole yelling at the Tv, getting depressed when they make a wrong play, or painting the outside of my house and car black n yellow.. Lol (I've seen many of those!!) But I do watch the games, when they are on, and obviously since I do live in Pa, I have a lot of Steelers clothes, jewery, etc. Lol

Hm is or was highland mint. i got them back in the late 80's or early 90's. they are not plated. do not know when this coin was made?
Jan 12th, 2014 at 8:51:35 PM PST by
Original
Yes, HM is highland mint, (didn't I state that in the description??) I Don't remember if I did. I don't think this was made back in the 80s, and probably not the 90s either. I am thinking it's not too old. My brother gave it to me, a few years back, as a gift. So I'm not sure if he ordered it offline, or if he purchased it in a store.. ???

There's not any date on it, or anything like that. Like I said, the description and in so many comments, I know nothing about this. Lol I'm a girl, and all I can say, is ..It's a coin, it's gold and very shiny n pretty. Lol!!,

Hi Lady.
Not going on record, but this is most probably a 24 carat plated coin. Like you said the real value ( this does however have money value to it and that depends on the buyer and how much they love the team, lol)is in the theme of the coin! It is very cool and unusual! Wish you the best and Good-Luck!!

Wow thank you for the awesome input! Yes, I had a hunch that it was probably 10k or 24 k gold plated. Only because of the Quick search I did online , I found alot of these HM coins are. But, I didn't find any with this Specific design though. Some were of other teams, and some were of super bowls, But none exactly like this. And you are right, the ones I seen varied, from $10 to $119, on eBay of course. N like u said. Certain collecters want certain ones n will pay a good bit I guess.
It is a really neat coin . And I like how it's inside the plastic covering thing, and that goes into the center of the glass/plastic frame. It just give you the convenience to display it up on a mantel or shelf, but yet, pop the center circle out. And carry it with you! All while still being protected. Lol.
I figured, maybe someone on here may like it as well, and get some better use than I can. It just sits in my drawer.Haha.

Is it gold plated or real gold

I don't know if it's either or which it is. The only things it says I wrote in the description. And the only words written on the package I took photos of. =/ so I don't Really know.
Ill double check it -(package) though. N see if it says anything that I missed.

Ok, so I am looking at the coin, and the only things on it, is that it says "limited edition, the highland mint.." STEELERS (which is on the plastic/glass frame). The coin itself says NFL "officially licensed", ON the back.. And "Pittsburgh Steelers *est. 1933* on its front. And the plastic package just says (above the barcode), "Pittsburgh Steelers 3x3 etched acrylic"
Lol, so I googled it.. all of it, lol. And I'm finding hundreds of coins, n such, with the highland mint. But I haven't found one that looks exactly like this one yet. The ones coming up on eBay n Google, have different themes, "superbowl, or playoffs" diff teams, some are said to be 24k gold. 10k gold. Some gold plated, some real. I didn't see any that actually said the karet on the coin itself, just in the titles. So, I don't know. I am so sorry. Wish I could tell you! But I don't want to take it out the plastic casing to have it tested, because well I don't want to touch it. Lol plus I don't know if the casing comes off n on or not.
Maybe do some of ur own searching. You would think that the package or something would say, but, I can see a few places where "stickers" or tags were taken off. I received this as a gift from my brother last year, so I truly don't know.
But nevertheless, real or plated, or not, it's a very neat collectors coin. Or " a good luck game coin" for the Steelers fan!! (Heaven knows they could of used it that last game. =)
