First off, I encourage all who are interested to look up the Freedom Alert on Google or wherever. This was purchased for my Father who sadly never got the chance to use it. It was opened but all parts are there! I double checked & you can see that for yourself in the pictures. The space that is empty is simply in the bigger bag in the middle. It comes with the warranty registration card so you can mail it in as well as an instruction & start up guide & DVD. There are NO monthly fees with this! This may very well be the gift of life if you know of or have an elderly or handicapped person in your life! Shipping is free as always. Any questions please ask & I will do my best to answer them. The GIN is subject to change. If you message me with a reasonable offer I will consider it!

Very sorry to hear about you father :(. This will save someone's life if they live alone and ever need help. My mom has one and has needed to use it several times. I encourage people to bid and bid high as these are not cheap!

Does this only work if you have a landline phone? Does it not work with a cell phone?

It plugs into a phone jack so yes it would only work if you have a land line. I asked the same thing when it was first purchased. They pointed out to us that most seniors do not have cell phones anyway but most have land lines. Which I suppose is true to a point. Cell phones are becoming a little bit more popular with the older generations. My Mother refuses to get 1.
