Lol!! That's so funny I hear that so much!! I have friends, who's children will literally break n lose every toy they get. They draw on things ,and throw them around..even my niece n nephew are like thAt! But, I must of been blessed, (or pushed my extreme OCD off on my daughter at a young age ha hah) , even when she was 2-3 years old, she took care of everything! If she played with barbies, n was finished playing, I taught her the dolls go in this bin...the Barbie clothes go in this bin...the Barbie shoes go in this bin...etc... it was like that with everything.. her crayons were in one box, markers in another...etc. And every thing I ever bought her. I taught her not to rip the original box, Always keep it -- and when you're done playing with it, put the toy back in the box and it will keep it nice!!
Of course now she's 11, and she has a billion toys, All in original boxes..lol seriously. and keeping them that way, runs ouT of space real fast. Lol
Her books, while there are a few, her bible or yearbooks, I allow her to write her nAme in, most of them I never aloud her to.
Now, though, while it was a great concept when she was young, bc her bed room has never been dirty. I've never seen toys laying around. Because she always put one thing away before playing with another-- but now I kinda wish I wasn't so "OCD" about it, bc she's like a neat freak. Her books are alphabetized. Her clothes colorized.. Lol.
But, I can say. When I babysit friends kids.... I thank heaven, that my daughter is not a Tasmanian devil Like some of their kids are. Lol. They will literally pick up my daughter's toy box n empty it all out!! My kid will come running out "MOM!!! She dumped the toys out!!! My rooms a mess!!!!!!" Haha

Actually, yes I may! Let me look and get back to you tomorrow. My daughter, (she's 11now) she just cleaned out all-of the books on the book shelves in the game room, and I remember seeing some that she moved to a "don't want" pile.. Lol

Is the ten year old a boy or a girl, might I ask?

All the books are in great condition. No pencils, or pen marks. No folds or bends. They are in very well condition. No rips or tears
