The listing, LQQK- Antique Garnet Earrings- LQQK has ended.

I bought these beautiful garnet earrings from an antique dealer in Crystal Lake, Illinois back in the late 70s or early 80s. They are simply gorgeous. The red garnets are so dark that in certain light they appear black.

The vermeil setting is heavy and well made. The backs on the earrings are unique and very beautiful as far as backings go! Vermeil means gold over silver. The posts of the earrings are stamped sterling.

I have never seen anything quite like these.

No, we don't live there any more. We moved in 1985-

These are antique earrings o all I can tell you is what they were tagged as. These are very sturdy earrings that were marked vermeil. Vermeil is described as a product that is made from a base of sterling silver that is coated or plated on its surfaces with gold of 10K, 14K or 18K and at least 2.5 microns thick (100/1,000,000 inch).

I know you already said you don't ship to Canada but would you consider it if I paid the shipping and insurance costs? I have won several auctions on here and other than an increase in shipping costs the only other thing that has to be done is to fill out a customs declaration form. Garnet is my daughter's birthstone and I would love to get these for her. Thanks
