Oh my gosh! Im an old Kentucky hillbilly, my kids moved me here to Colorado this past summer. The most enjoyable part of my move was packing up my beautiful bookcases. The excitement of seeing books that I had read so so many years earlier and the daydreams that followed about reading them to my grand children. This 100 year flood we had this fall took took away books that I feared I would never see again, until today. My son-in-law has made a wonderful display case for me to properly display the books I hold closest to my heart and here will be the new home of a book I never dreamed of being able to read again. Thank you for passing on this wonderful piece if American Literature. It's my hope that here will be your books new home.

I would like to add that, if I were to win this auction, I would keep this book, and take good care of it. It's something very special that I would like to share with my daughter.

Sadly, I don't think you can delete an auction once bids are placed. (I was unaware of that before. I'm new here, and am learning.) I hope the bidding gets up past 20,000 credits for you! Hi there, I really thought I wanted this so I bid 1000 credits, But I can see that this one would hold a lot more value to you as you have a daughter to share it with. So if you can out bid my bid, I promise not to up it again. This is a very special book that truly needs to be shared and charised, and not just stuck up on a shelf someplace.
