Description

The listing, Pandora Battery to Mod a PSP + Memory Card has ended.

This auction is for a Pandora Battery to put custom firmware on a PSP. The difference between a normal battery and a Pandora is that one wire is cut inside the Pandora allowing the firmware to be changed on the PSP. I got this about 2 years ago and it worked GREAT for my PSP 2000. I don't know if it will work on a PSP 1000 or PSP 3000. Here is everything you get in the auction.

- Official Sony Pandora Battery 3.6v 1800mAh
- Official Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo 512MB (has an old firmware on it, but can't remember the number)
- Memory Stick PRO Duo to USB converter

Happy Bidding and Happy Modding!!

You have to use the custom firmware on the memory card to boot once the pandora battery is in. There are a million tutorials and download links out there for the latest firmware. Hope this helped a little...

Actually your description is incorrect. Sony does not make Pandora batteries therefore it is false to state that its an official Pandora battery. Most likely it was converted before hand.

Right, I just wanted to state that it is an Official Sony battery, not a Chinese rip off. Sorry if that confused anybody....

I'm not sure about using it to Unbrick a PSP.. I only used it to put the custom firmware on the PSP.. But I found a tutorial and looks like it's possible, but I can't say for sure.. here is the link to the tutorial for ya: http://www.qj.net/psp/how-to/tutorial-how-to-unbrick-your-psp-via-pandora-battery.html I hope this helped you out!!

Sometimes it will unbrick, sometimes it won't. It depends on what kind of brick your PSP encountered. You'd have to explain that :) If its accident brick, then it most likely won't work. If you bricked it trying to mod it, you can always try turning your battery (since your PSP is bricked) into a Pandora battery and running in recovery mod. :P

Ahem, great auction! But I have a question. What does the "Memory Stick PRO Duo to USB converter" do?
