Either someone has a nice bid or if the page isn't done loading you might have problems. I do listia from my phone and i have a fair amount of loading issues

It goes by max bid so i usually put in an almost outrageous bid if its something i really want. plus i think you get the difference back if it doesn't go for that amount .
