I took it out long enough to pull the batter reserve tab & ensure it works. Its a new battery so you have lots of life in it. I purchased this as a random gift for anyone last Christmas. I had forgotten all about it till a week ago. This is gift ready should you decide to not keep it for yourself. Originally purchased at Kohl's for $20 - Never used.

OK - I'm bidding on this one. Hopefully it will work better than one I got years ago on eBay - it went off at the slightest sound & was so ANNOYING I couldn't get rid of it fast eoungh! LOL!

I suppose if its as sensative as your last one you might be able to put tape over the speaker/mic to reduce its sensativity. What kind did you have b4... You know so I never get that one lol

I have no idea what kind I had before. It was some no-name brand from China. I got about 4 on a cheap eBay 'deal'. Gave them ALL away ASAP. LOL!
