Jewler looked at this Today and said this is a SILVER Ring it has Tarnished and just needs Cleaned. Not sure what the Stone is in it. Jewler Said this was Real Silver but never said the Stone cause my husband did not ask him... I was thinking this could be Turquoise too maybe?? Well, the setting looks Mexican, that I am sure of, and the stone could be coral or jasper, but I am putting my money on coral. I do not think it is any type of turquoise, ( I am half Indian (Sioux) on my dads side, (my dad was full blooded born on the reservation) and half Irish and German ( my grandparents came over from Ireland and Germany and met at Ellis Island)

Yeah My Exhusband has more Indian then I (My Childrens Father) His Dad Which would be my Kids Gradfather was 100% Full Blooded Cherokee Indian He went by the Name "Cherokee Bill" he was on a Show with Bronco Billy There is a Book on him in the Library . He went Around to Schools Years Ago. All arond the U.S. doing Shows, With Bull Whips, Knives, and also would Balance a Ladder on his Chin with My Ex as a Baby On the Top of the Ladder... (No Hands When he Balanced it). He would take a Bull whip and snap a Cigarette out of ones mouth, He shot apples off people heads. List Goes On And On. But Yeah That was my Kids Grandfather and I am Sure there are People out there that remember him coming to thier Schools he went All Over, He Drove a Car with Big Horns on the Hood Like Big Bull Horns, and A Sign on Very Top Saying, "We Paint Signs" LOL Mercy Way Back in The Day I have allot of Photos on the computer of him Ok I will Stop Now LOL That was Fun Re Hashing the Old days for a Minute. Here's my 2 cents...lol. This is definitely a 50s or 60s Navajo ring with red coral. My reasoning? Are you ready? I have one just like it bought on the reservation in the late 50s early 60s....I love this one too! Coral is porous, therefore the holes in the stone. An easy way to test if coral has been dyed is to put the stone in hot water for a few minutes then wipe with with a white towel. If it has been dyed, the color comes off a bit.

i seen your comment on snow further up.... 10 inches is a daily normal in buffalo. 2-3 feet is not uncommon overnight. I love driving in snow. LOL

today is the first time we have seen sun in about 4-5 months. LOL. It rained this morning but it soon turned to snow. Hopefully the sun will last tho. there is still mounds of snow on every street. I have a 10 ft pile at the end of my dead end street from plows. Time to move I think. I get tired of snow. the kids love it tho... they like the building snow fort, snow angels, snow balls, and snow men. I hate the word snow. I have lived here my whole life and I hate snow. I am like a bear... I hibernate in the winter and only go out when necessary. LOL. Thank goodness for my husband otherwise the snow would never get shoveled. HAHAHA. I have a few things I am going to list soon you may be interested in (lingerie, electronics, jewelry, Ect.) so fan me Please. (i have 100% on almost 200 sold items) I just love your stuff.

Fan you once it lets me I just found out from Listia that they put a Cap on how many you can Fan now I know I have 500+ fans but I can not fan anyone until I get more Fans myself Go Figure. They are always changing something on here to our/ "My" Suprise. in response to earlier notes... cranelian stone has a brown tint to it... therefore it is definitely red jasper (as jasper comes in other shades)... I'd say that it was also definitely made on an indian reservation... as, have quite a few friends that are indian and known quite a few jewlers too... it is more than likely 925 silver - whether marked or unmarked... Quite the work of art !!!

Me, personally.....I'm a HUGE fan of "OLD PAWN" jewelry...meaning older Native American Sterling Silver Jewelry made from 50's thru 70's. That, my dear, is Red Coral. VERY beautiful piece. Will be gorgeous cleaned up a little, but a little Patina gives it character. Good luck!
