The listing, Striped Diaper Cover with Insert S-M has ended.
EUC Super cute striped diaper cover. Knit waterproof outer (PUL) with micro fleece inner. I will include a micro fiber insert with the cover. Fits small to med.
Velcro closures ( laundry tabs) make it easy for those squirmy little ones.

Questions & Comments
I have also heard microfiber is not supposed to touch baby's skin. We use them all the time as inserts for our pocket dipes and I also stuff pockets with microfiber towels- it works great as stuffers!
I would say about 6-12lbs..because there is a velcro closure it could go alitte higher in weight. Some babies are long but weigh more so they have smaller waists and legs.
Micro-blablablah! I'm a fan and a bidder! My baby will look super cute in this:) I'm hoping I win it. You poor thing, with all the over analytical silly stuff. Fan me back and I won't irritate your skin:)
This Auction is for a diaper cover. You can lay inside of it anything that works best for you and your baby. You can cut up tshirts and towels and lay them inside for great absorbancy. Lay a piece flannel from an old baby blanket over a microfiber towel (folded in 1/2 or 1/3 )and you have a super aborbant insert.
"microfiber" can be a confusing term. It's used for many different fabrics. Technically, anything with a microweave is considered microfiber. The one that's not supposed to be next to the skin is called "microterry". Some microfibers are super soft and ok against the skin (like the really soft microfiber on bath towels and teddy bears). So you wouldn't want to put microterry (like microfiber auto detailing towels etc.) against the skin for long periods of time.
the microfiber is best used to stuff in a pocket diaper, NOT next to babys skin. it is super absorbent and will dry out babys skin of natural oils they need. will most always cause a rash. i learned this the hard way :/ totally watching this tho! :)
Thanks! Cloth diapers are the way to go. So much cheaper, softer next to babies skin, no chemicas like sposies. You never run out and have to make a trip to the store late at night lol!
These look to be microfleece then. But I do hear mama's buying the microfiber cleaning towels and using them in their covers next to the babies skin. They fold them in thirds and say they work great. I don't have experience with using them, but friends of mine do use them. I guess everyone finds what works best for them and their babies. That's why we all end up with such a variety of diapers :)
I appreciate any and all opinions and advice :) Thanks!!!
FB are lined with microFLEECE -- very different than microfiber. Fleece pulls moisture away but is much gentler on skin than microfiber. Microfiber is what automobile cleaning towels are made from & what most pocket inserts are. The inserts intended to lay next to baby's skin are generally topped with a layer of microfleece. Many new to cloth diapering people commenting on Listia auctions lately -- just don't want anyone to unknowingly give thier little one a rash & stop using cloth KWIM?
Fuzzi Bunz diapers are one of he top selling diapers. Their cover is micro fiber lined with the diaper in the pocket. Micro fiber repells moisture from babies skin. Doesn't stain and is super soft. Many mama pads are topped iwth microfiber. Some people are sensitive to microfiber but most would say are not. Everything is made with microfiber these days. It breaths very much like cotton and wool.
FYI -- Microfiber should never touch babies skin so shouldn't be used in a cover like this. It needs to be covered by something else so is normally used in pockets or topped with fleece when laid in covers. It draws out the skins natural oils causing an exzema like rash. :-(
